Last Saturday, East Carolina pulled off a huge overtime victory over Memphis. This wasn’t only a big win because of how close the game was but it gave the Pirates the signature 6th win. This makes ECU bowl eligible for the First time since the 2014 season. Mike Houston is in his 3rd season as the Pirates head coach. It seems he is no longer playing with the team he inherited, but the team he has built, and the team he has built is ready for anything.
