The Pirates despite having won their last two games have struggled on 3rd down this year. Their season numbers on third down are a horrible 28% and they were 2/12 in last weeks game against Charleston Southern.Stopping the run is part of football, but this week the Pirates won’t know who the featured back in until they get to the game Saturday. As Tulane has had a different leader rusher in each of their four games this season.
