Last week, South Carolina started Zeb Noland at quarterback, due to an injury that starter Luke Doty had suffered in practice in mid August. Noland played well completing thirteen of twenty-two passes, and threw for four touchdowns. Two other quarterbacks also saw limited action in Saturday’s win. With rumors of Doty being healthy a lot of questions have passed through peoples minds about who will start against the Pirates this Saturday. When asked about it Gamecocks coach Shane Beamer told the media that he would not disclose that information. This has forced the Pirates to prepare for multiple options. – Phillip Pilkington
