Last Thursday, the Pirates dropped the season opener 33-19 to Appalachian State. This weekend, they host South Carolina in what will be the first full capacity home game since the start of the pandemic. Along with the full crowd an SEC opponent will be in Rowdy Dowdy. Hopefully, the Pirates can avoid an 0-2 start to the 2021 season. -Phillip Pilkington
